Gingerbread Village Earrings
These cozy gingerbread villages are little artistic vignettes that have been delicately sculpted and hand painted. They feature tiny candlelit gingerbread houses against a starlit sky in a wintery landscape, smoke coming from their chimneys, suggesting a cozy warmth inside. Some are adorned with tiny wreaths and Christmas lights, and a tiny car carrying a tree is driving past. Please note: These were made as a small batch of three pairs, and may differ in tiny ways from the photos, but are almost identical.
All designs are 100% handmade using the highest quality polymer clay. Polymer clay is a lightweight, flexible and durable material that will look great for a lifetime with proper care.
POSTS:
Many children and adults are sensitive to cheap metals. Titanium earring posts make these as allergy friendly as possible without the expense of pure gold. Only 0.6% of people are allergic to titanium, so it is safe for even the most sensitive ears. Unlike cheaper metals, these are unalloyed pure titanium, nickel-free, and have no trace of irritating metals. Posts are buried in the stud using liquid polymer clay and re-baked for maximum comfort.
BACKS:
Backs are made of clear silicone. I do not use any metal butterflies due to metal sensitivities, as even those labelled hypoallergenic cause reactions for a lot of people. Two sets of clear silicone backs are included to ensure there is an extra set if one goes missing.
